Hey! This site is not about Stephen. Nor is this page about Stephen. It is about me. (It always is.) Mostly it is about my obsession to someday be a guest on his show the Colbert Report. If all goes as planed I should be on the show before I’m thirty five. He’s had other artist on like acclaimed LEGO artist Nathan Sawaya. Why not me?

     Stephen and I have a lot in common. We both love Stephen Colbert’s Americone Dreams ice cream by Ben and Jerry’s. It’s delicious. I also like chunky monkey, but I can’t speak for Stephen. (Ben and Jerry’s does not endorse Above Average Comics, but I endorse Ben and Jerry’s.) He is a noted and successful author and I have read his book. I always keep it right next to my toilet for those times I’m able to devote my full attention to his words.

I have a black friend just like Stephen.

Last, but not least Stephen is an inspiration to us all just like me. I know Stephen has inspired me. I made a great big picture to prove it and then a smaller one.
